For his last meeting as Vice-President, Mike O'Leary brought a 1/32 scale Hansa-Brandenburg W29
from Wingnut Wings, a highly detailed kit from the New Zealand manufacturer.
Dan Covey brought two 35 year old 1/72 Monogram
kits, a Boeing F4B-4 (still in the box) and a
Goshawk FII2C-2.
Robert James brought a collection of Sci-Fi models.
David Weeks brought his Curtiss A-1 Tryad in early completion stage. He printed the plans of the original aircraft at 1/32 scale to use as a template for the
building of this 90% scratch built model, the other 10% coming from a Monogram kit.
David created a jig to assemble the elements of the fragile aircraft.
Ethen Idenmill brought his Dragon Russian soldier.
Rex McCoy explains how the construction of his USS Fletcher is going.
Marty Horvath brought his 1/48 Tamiya F-16 C, on which he experimented with canopy tinting.
Jerry Jackson brought the Dragon 1/35 scale E100
tank that he started in October for a client,
finished this time.
Jerry's usual master craftsmanship can be seen in this model, beautifully detailed and weathered.
Thanks to all who participated in this meeting and made it a very interesting event!
