Show 'n Tell

Jose Gonzalez brought a 1/72 Revell/Lodela Me 262 that he has built out-of-the-box and hand-painted.

Jose also completed this 1/3rd scale Trumpeter M16A2 rifle, complete with ammo cartridge, that will be given to the USMC high-shooter as trophy.

Fred Fimbres started work on a red Tamiya 1/24 scale Toyota (above) some time ago, but can't locate the rest of the kit.

Fred also brought this 1/25 scale Revell Plymouth Prowler (above right) that he started in 2004, but that he still has to finish.

Colin Hodges acquired a Wolfpack 1/48 scale T-38 A that he plans
to built in the colors and marking of a plane that his father flew.

Manny Gutsche is making a special version of a U-2 from various kits, all in 1/48 scale, a project that was started by Skip Samples.

Michael O'Leary brought this in-progress
DH-9A, a 1/32 scale Wing Nut Wings
model that he's building for the Flying Leatherneck Air Museum in anticipation
of the centennial of the start of WWI.

The aircraft is built mostly out-of-the-box,
with only aftermarket rigging parts.

Gary Williams waited 10 years for the release
of the Trumpeter 1/32 scale A-6 A Intruder
that he acquired as soon as it was available.
Built out-of-the-box in less than a month, this
is a very detailed and well engineered kit.

Rex McCoy brought a 1/200 scale OS2U
Kingfisher Floatplane that was part of a
Riich Models kit of a US Gato submarine.

The tiny plane came as single clear plastic
piece.

Ethan Idenmill brought his Nitto 1/1600 Space
Frigate that is now painted after the hull was
modified to have separate nacelles.

Ethan used decals from a 1/400 scale Heller
kit. The ship is now a French Space Frigate
named "Le Basque" and is currently at the
weathering stage.

Rich Durham has started work on an
Academy 1/350 scale USS Indianapolis.

Dany Galgani brought his completed Tamiya
1/20 scale Ferrari F1-2000 that includes a
Perfect Parts PE kit, carbon fiber decals from
Scale Motorsports, and scratch-built piping
and wiring. The red paint is Tamiya's, and
the rest is a mix of acrylics and enamels.

Our thanks to all who participated!
