Show 'n Tell

The Show 'n Tell tables, with little free space left.

Stewart Richline brought his Tamiya 1/350 scale USS New Jersey in a more complete state than two months ago.

Tony Bunch is building a Yankee Modelworks 1/350 scale USS Nashville, CL-43, a resin kit bashed
with a USS Brooklyn (CL-40) kit from Iron Shipwrights, and detailed as the ship circa 1945,
with unpainted natural wood deck.

Lenny even brought his laptop to show the camo scheme that he plans to use on his Stuka.
Lenny Hazelett surprised everyone by bringing a
1973 Monogram kit of a 1/48 scale Stuka JU
87G-1. Lenny is planning on finishing the aircraft
in the Eastern front winter color scheme.

Ethan Idenmill's ARVN M113 (as in Saigon circa 1963) has been painted with Tamiya and Testors
acrylics, using Silly Putty as a masking agent. Ethan added brass antennas to the 1/72 ESCI kit.

Tony Beres has built three versions of the Curtiss
P-40, E, K and N. All three are 1/48 scale models from Hasegawa with Eagle Strike decals.

Fred Fimbres brought a P-38J in the colors of
"Pudgy (V)", the aircraft flown by Major Thomas
McGuire. The model is a 1/48 scale Monogram
with scribed panel lines and drilled rivets. Fred
finished the aircraft with Alclad paints and decals
from Rich Dan, spending over 800 hours to
complete the project.

Another project that Fred just started, a Testor 1/32 scale H-43 B Huskie.

Jose Gonzalez is working on an AMT model of the Starship USS Enterprise (left) and a Revell kit
of a Colonial Viper (right) from the original Battlestar Galactica series.
Jose pointed out how much influence science fiction series have on various generations.

Joel Hendricks brought his finished pteranodon "Donna" which took third place in the 2013 Model Expo Regional Contest's Miscellaneous category.

Dany G is working on a Tamiya 1/20 scale Ferrari
F1-2000
, using Tamiya's lacquers and acrylics,
a kit of photo etch and machined metal parts
from Perfect Parts, and carbon fiber decals
from Scale Motorsports.

Annalysa Walker created this
octopede/centipede, with colorful
legs and a make-believe bug body.
