IPMS San Diego -May 2013 meeting report

The IPMS San Diego met on May 31 at the Girl Scout Center, located 1231 Upas St. in San Diego. This was a very small meeting, primarily due to the preparation for the Model Expo scheduled to happen the next day. (Click any picture to see a larger image)

The Meeting

	For the second month in a row, Vice-President Ethan Idenmill conducted the meeting in lieu of President Rex McCoy.
Gary Williams gave his monthly Treasurer report.
	Secretary Joel Hendricks, suffering from a small wood working accident, gave his monthly report as well.

Richard Abraham brought yet another nicely built model, 1/48 scale Mirage F-1 B from Kitty Hawk Models with Ecuador markings from FCM Decals.



Ethan Idenmill is building a ARVN M113 (above) as in Saigon circa 1963 from a 1/72 ESCI kit of an M113 A1. Ethan is simultaneously working on a 1/1600 Space Frigate by Nitto, top.



Jerry Jackson is working on another Bf109 G-14, this time from a 1/72 scale Academy kit.



Jerry is working on commissioned work, a 1/48 scale Trumpeter model of an RA-5 C Vigilante. The kit has some serious fit problems, like the top fuselage seam, the wing flats and slats (right above), all of which will not make a competition-level model.
