The meeting brought a nice attendance, including members that hadn't been seen in a while. Show 'n Tell saw also a good number of models in various stages of completion.

Dan Swiersz brought a "big and shiny" 1/32 scale Trumpeter F-8 J Crusader to which he added a resin cockpit. To a great effect, Dan used talcum powder coated with flat black paint to simulate the graininess of walkways.

Using a ball pein hammer, Jerry Jackson disassembled a 1/48 scale Otaki Bf 109G-14 that he had built in the 1980s. Jerry also explained how he used a pair of plyers to break some of the glue seams of the old model which is now properly put back together, repainted, and ready for new decals.

Rex McCoy has built a 1/48 scale Testor F8F-2 Bearcat that he painted in Gulfhawk 4 markings.

Rex also completed his 1/24 scale Revell 1949 Ford, a two-door version of his family's sedan in the 1950s, finished in the color of the actual car.

Annalysa Walker presented her "Bird House", adorned with beautiful flying paper birds.

Work on the StarWars AT-ST by Ethan Idenmill is showing progress, with brass barrels, parts from other kits and lots of modifications added to the AMT model.

Dan King started this Iditarod 2000 diorama - in 2000 - using a 1/24 scale Tamiya Toyota Land Cruiser with Skip Samples decals, and a snowmobile from MPC's Ice Patrol Pickup.
Dan used spray foam insulation to simulate the snow mounds, which brought him a lot of problems as the foam expanded beyond his expectations, and then started to shrink after trimming.

Marty Horvath showed a 1/48 scale Revell F6F-5 Hellcat, but is currently working on a 1963 Revell 1/48 scale model of a Grumann F6F-5 Hellcat. Marty read a book about a particular F6F, which prompted him to build the model.
